My girl's love tutus! I think most little girls do. My niece was having a fairy themed birthday party so I thought it was the perfect excuse to make the girl's some new tutus to wear to the party.
I did a gathered tutu with a elastic waistband. I used 5 layers of tulle in 3 different lengths. I think they turned out really cute. I also did a blue one for the birthday girl and a purple one for the birthday girl's baby sister. I didn't think to take pictures of their tutus....oops! I did all the girl's the same size (except the baby one) because that way they aren't just limited to being worn by one girl even though the length will, of course, vary depending on who's wearing it.-
It wasn't the funnest thing to make especially making 4 in a row. I gathered a lot of tulle! It was worth because the girls were happy being fairies in their tutus!
