Okay, I'm a day late but yesterday was super duper busy! We went to a local airshow and had a BBQ to celebrate my husband's birthday (which is actually today, not yesterday.) Just like last year, I made the girl's some cute St. Patrick's Day outfits. This year I went a little less traditional, I didn't really use St. Patrick's Day as a theme as much as I just incorporated quite a bit of green into their outfits.
For Kaitlin, I made a skirt using this tutorial. I embroidered the butterfly on a t-shirt. I also made some fun butterfly hair clips for her.
For Isabella, I made a ruffle skirt using this pattern. I made a frayed flower to put on her t-shirt, which I also had to shorten a bit because it was way too long. I made her some butterfly hair clips as well.
I also made myself a little frayed flower clip so that I would have a little something to match my girls.
I just love how all of it turned out but Isabella's skirt just takes the cake for me! I'm definitely going to have to make her a few more of these adorable ruffle skirts for summer! I guess it's a good thing that she loves skirts and loves ruffles!
Super cute! I really need to make that ruffle skirt one of these days.
